Overview
HYROX Training · Singapore CBD
HYROX is its own discipline. Eight 1-kilometre runs interleaved with eight functional stations: ski-erg, sled push, sled pull, burpee broad jumps, rowing, farmer's carry, sandbag lunges, wall balls. None of the stations is technically complex on its own. The difficulty is metabolic. Your engine is asked to switch between aerobic running and lactate-tolerant station work eight times in a row, often inside ninety minutes, sometimes inside an hour. Most general-strength programmes fall apart against that demand.
Catalyst's HYROX-specific training is built off the Catalyst Healthspan Assessment. Sixty minutes in studio, four pillars measured (Body Composition, Cardiorespiratory Fitness, Stability, Strength). For HYROX specifically, the Cardiorespiratory Fitness pillar carries unusual weight: Heart Rate Recovery, VO2 max estimate, the engine the race actually taxes. The programme that follows is calibrated against that data, then sequenced to peak at your target race.
We work with first-time HYROX entrants, age-group competitors targeting a category podium, and serious athletes whose run split has plateaued and need a structured way through the wall. The work is the same shape; the load and the periodisation differ.
