Quick answer

How does Catalyst prepare clients for functional fitness racing in Singapore?

Catalyst Performance offers 1:1 personal training in Singapore CBD for functional fitness racing preparation. Every plan starts with the 4-Pillar Healthspan Assessment to identify whether the bottleneck is cardiorespiratory capacity, strength, stability, or station-specific weakness. Programming is personalised to those gaps, not lifted off the internet. Coached by Elly Morgan when scheduling allows, 20-plus HYROX podiums, most recently a double win at HYROX Mumbai.

If this sounds like you

The pattern

  • You can run, but you blow up at SkiErg, Sled Push, or Burpee Broad Jumps
  • You're guessing at race-day pacing and station economy
  • You've watched the race on YouTube but no one's coaching the station-to-run transitions to your body

The Catalyst protocol

The method

  1. 01Start with the 4-Pillar Healthspan Assessment, we identify whether your bottleneck is cardiorespiratory capacity, strength, stability, or station-specific weakness
  2. 02Programming personalised to YOUR pillar gaps, not a generic race template lifted off the internet
  3. 03Coached by Elly Morgan when scheduling allows, 15+ HYROX podiums and decade of strength coaching
  4. 04Re-tested every 16 weeks at the Checkpoint to refine pacing strategy and recalibrate station protocols

The outcome

Frequently asked, this goal

Q. 01

How far out from race day should I start?

Most members commit to a 12 to 16-week prep block. Starting earlier lets us do a full Catalyst Healthspan Assessment, address any underlying weakness, and run a structured training block with a Checkpoint re-test before race day. AIA HYROX Singapore's next edition runs 26 to 29 November 2026 at Singapore Expo (see our full 2026 SG running events calendar); for that date, the 12 to 16-week block puts your start somewhere between early August and early September 2026.

Q. 02

Will I train at the studio for stations that need a sled or rower?

Yes. The studio is fitted with sled, rower, ski erg, wall-ball, and burpee floor space. Stations that don't fit (compromise pull, sandbag) are simulated with closely matched substitutes during station work.

Q. 03

Is the prep solo or in a group?

1:1 personal training is the default. The Campaign, our cohort-based event-prep programme, runs around major race weekends and is included if the timing matches.
