Overview
Strength and Conditioning · Singapore CBD
Looking for a strength and conditioning coach in Singapore? The shortlist test is simple: a formal S&C credential, a competitive lifting record, and programming built from measured data. Catalyst Performance puts all three in one private CBD studio, with an ASCA Certified Strength and Conditioning Coach, a Singapore Weightlifting Open podium lifter, and 1:1 coaching at Manulife Tower.
Strength and conditioning is the most under-coached and over-marketed thing in Singapore fitness. Most personal trainers can run a session that includes lifts; very few have the formal strength and conditioning background to write a block of programming, calibrate it to your starting capacity, and progress both the strength work and the conditioning work across months. Every client starts with the Catalyst Healthspan Assessment: sixty minutes in studio, four pillars measured (Body Composition, Cardiorespiratory Fitness, Stability, Strength). The Strength pillar (deadlift, squat, press, pull, plus grip and loaded carry) sets the entry point; the Cardiorespiratory pillar sets the conditioning baseline.
We work with clients new to lifting who want to learn the lifts properly the first time, intermediate lifters whose progress has stalled, competitive lifters preparing for meets, and runners and endurance athletes whose strength is the limiter in their sport. The evidence case for that last group is laid out in our guide to strength training for runners. And for senior professionals, the block is written to fit inside a real CBD week.
