Personal Training for a Slipped Disc · Singapore CBD
A slipped disc, herniated, prolapsed, or bulging, is frightening, and the recovery is rarely linear. Once the acute episode settles and your doctor or physiotherapist has cleared you for progressive load, the question becomes how to rebuild strength without provoking it again. That is exactly the gap Catalyst fills: not the acute clinical care, but the supervised strength-training step that takes a deconditioned, cautious spine back to confident loading.
Every client rebuilding from a disc injury starts with the Catalyst Healthspan Assessment. Sixty minutes in studio, four pillars measured. The Stability pillar matters most here: the Functional Movement Screen, Y-Balance, and movement-pattern strength tests surface which patterns are compensating and which structures are taking load they should not. The programme that follows targets the root, loads conservatively, and respects every constraint your physio has set.
We work with clients cleared after conservative management, post-microdiscectomy clients returning to load, and people who finished physio months ago but never rebuilt the strength to feel safe lifting again. If your pain is acute, radiating down a leg, or new, that is a doctor's job first, not a gym's.
