Personal Training for Back Pain · Singapore CBD
Singapore CBD desks are the perfect environment to grow a back-pain problem. Eight to twelve hours seated, posture rotated toward a screen, hip flexors shortened, glutes silent, thoracic spine stuck. Most attempts to train through it default to one of two unhelpful directions. Either the trainer loads the same compensatory pattern that caused the pain in the first place, or the trainer avoids loading anything spinal and the pattern never resolves. Catalyst does neither.
Every back-pain client starts with the Catalyst Healthspan Assessment. Sixty minutes in studio, four pillars measured. The Stability pillar (Y-Balance, Movement Pattern Strength, Functional Movement Screen) is the diagnostic that matters here. Where you score lowest tells your coach which pattern is doing the compensation, which structure is taking the load it should not be, and which side is the dominant compensator. The training that follows targets the root, not the site of pain.
