Personal Training for Scoliosis · Singapore CBD
Scoliosis, a sideways curve of the spine, does not have to keep you out of the weights room. For most adults living with a stable curve, the right strength and stability training improves function, helps manage pain, and builds the capacity that daily life actually depends on. We want to be clear about what this is and is not: Catalyst is the strength-training complement to your clinical care, not a substitute for it. We do not claim to straighten the spine, and bracing or Schroth-method physiotherapy belong with your doctor and physio.
Every client training with scoliosis starts with the Catalyst Healthspan Assessment. Sixty minutes in studio, four pillars measured. The Stability pillar matters most: the Y-Balance test and movement-pattern strength work surface the side-to-side asymmetries the curve creates, so the programme can load the compensating side deliberately rather than blind.
We work with adults who have a stable, monitored curve and want to train safely, people managing scoliosis-related back pain, and clients cleared by their doctor or physio who want a strength environment that respects the asymmetry. If your curve is new, painful, or progressing, that is a specialist's call first, not a gym's.
