Personal Training for Arthritis · Singapore CBD
Arthritis, most commonly osteoarthritis, responds to the very thing sore joints make people want to avoid: strength training. Building the muscle around an arthritic joint offloads it, improves how it moves, and reduces pain for many people, which is why exercise and strengthening are recommended first-line for osteoarthritis in international clinical guidelines. Done with the right loading and progression, training is one of the most effective non-drug tools you have. It is not a cure, and it works alongside, not instead of, your doctor's care.
Every client managing arthritis starts with the Catalyst Healthspan Assessment. Sixty minutes in studio, four pillars measured. Strength and Stability matter most: where you are weak, where a joint is unsupported, and which patterns load the painful structure rather than the muscle. The programme that follows builds support around the joint and progresses conservatively, respecting whatever your doctor has advised.
We work with adults managing knee, hip, or hand osteoarthritis, people who were told to 'just rest' and lost capacity because of it, and clients with inflammatory arthritis such as rheumatoid arthritis who train in coordination with their rheumatologist. If a joint is acutely flared, hot, or swollen, that is a medical question first.
